So, for all those who commit to doing anything to help promote the book should go the rewards, but what should those rewards be? In the past we did T-shirts once, hats once. So there are the obvious choices. I'll also be sending everyone a signed copy of the book. What other ideas are there?
- T-shirts - Hats - Me cleaning your house
Any other ideas? Can't guarantee we can do your idea, but happy to consider it.

Hmm well i know for THE TERMINAL STATE you had book marks and stickers to give out. Though hand out stuff isn't as useful to me anymore because there are no bookstores really anywhere nearby out here anymore.
Definitely more online stuff that i can post around would be nice. I usually try to send out book trailers and stuff where i can.
I liked that hat from THE TERMINAL STATE you sent me. I still wear it all the time (wore it today as a matter of fact).

T-shirts are always good. Bookmarks and stickers too. For those of us that also write, offering to guest blog, cross-promote in social media, book review on Amazon, etc would rock.

I'm down for gust blogs, and bookmakrs are in the works. Whiskey would be awesome, but I am reluctant to give up any whiskey I acquire. I need drinkin' whiskey, dammit.

Just off the top of my head (I know some of this has already been said):
- T-shirts and posters are always nice. - I've seen some pretty awesome book plates as well. - If it is possible to buy/steal/appropriate some ARC's that's also sweet. - Your name in one of the forthcoming books, or a phone call from the author. - A bottle of Pappy Van Winkle 23 (I know you have some somewhere!) - A copy or e-version of some deleted scenes etc.
There will be more once I let this percolate a bit...

A PHONE CALL FROM THE AUTHOR? My god, who would seriously want that? I can barely be coherent on the written page.

I've seen it in a few contests and auctions here and there. Usually it's pitched as "if you want to ask me some relevant questions about writing coherent sentences" or "if you want to ask me where the hell I come up with some of my brilliant ideas" type of thing, I will give you 15 minutes of my life... Type of thing I've seen people pay thousands of dollars for a 15 minute chat with their favorite author. Not saying they're sane, but I've seen it happen.

Thousands of dollars? We can chat all night about life and stuff for thousands of dollars. Why didn't you say so?
No, seriously - if people actually are interested I'd be more than happy to do something like that. Heck, I'll dance for your amusement if it sells books.
Forget I said that.

I really enjoyed the book giveaways for Terminal State! The little clues were fun to solve; and I ended up winning. haha I still ended up buying the book, but it gave me a copy I could loan to people. Not sure how much control you have over giveaways like that, since it seemed to be through the publisher last time, but, ya know--ideas!
...But, seriously, An Evening of Doing Shots should happen.

I really enjoyed doing the contests, too, although it always seemed like my "genius" puzzles were solved within minutes. Sigh. but they're a lot of work - but I'll keep it in mind. I'll need to figure out some cool puzzles or it's not worth doing.
Maybe instead of a book tour, I could do a Shot Tour. Meet one representative of the Street Team in every state or country and do one shot with them, snap a photo, and then throw a smoke bomb and disappear.
