The Shot Tour is the greatest idea ever conceived of by man. You sir are a genius. I am in.

Okay. I just had coffee, my brain is alive, so bear with me:
Stickers/stencils are amazing--I live in Denver, and "graffiti" tactics are rather powerful. (You can't walk from one street corner to another without seeing at least three SoGnar stickers somewhere. haha) And people just like free stickers. haha I could sneak some into local breweries (all of which usually have some sort of "swag" table somewhere).
On the note of stencils, I would gladly vandalize some brick walls/electrical boxes on the street. The title of the book really rings as prophetic--and I'll stop myself before getting into a rant on Futurism--so the title itself dispersed around the city could spark attention: instagram, twitter, tumblr, etc. So, whether or not they visit the website included with the title, the slogan "We Are Not Good People" could easily become an enigmatic image that people look into and then find their way to your book.
I dunno. I just like guerrilla tactics. haha
I think the cover art would work very well as a sticker, street art stencils could be like 8.5" x 11" or smaller--unless you wanna go really big. I know where large format printers are--I can make this happen. haha (I'm a graphic artist/hand letterer, so I frequent such places.)
Coasters, Mistah Somers. Since I live in the brewery capital of the US, I can find ways to get coasters under every pint of craft beer. I don't think any place will turn down free coasters. They will use them. And this could be a dual tactic, perhaps. Draw attention to your new book, your writing in general, or this could tie into the Shots Tour!
As a big step one, we should all decide on some common hashtag/tag situation. We could have one or thirty! Just create some consistency so search engines could possibly explode with Jeff Somers links when our tags are seen elsewhere and then searched on the internets.
...I feel I may have gone slightly off-topic. >_> haha But, still! Ideas!
I'm done.

Stickers are a must, so I'll get cracking on that.
Coasters are a genius idea. I'll look into those.
I have to officially say that I don't want anyone vandalizing any property - so only put stickers, stencils, etc where they're allowed to go. Unless you can get away with it or your arrest will somehow generate publicity for the book, in which case go for it.
No, seriously - don't!
Thanks!

How none of us thought about coasters before now is a mystery, one possibly related to alcohol consumption... In any case, I think it's a great idea!
And I must admit, seeing WE ARE NOT GOOD PEOPLE at the bottom of my beer glass is a perfect way to get into some interesting conversations at the pub, while publicizing the book. It's perfect.
